reasons i like doing web development:
(in no particular order)

1. it's a respectable response to the question "ahh... soo... what do you do for a living?"


2. people trade you awesome shit to make their really simple websites


3. it's like a puzzle... here's the picture of what we want and here's all the pieces... now figure it out.


4. when you do your job well- no one notices the one pixel line at the top of the page that you spent 3 hours trying to make position itself in exactly the right place in every browser imaginable


5. it looks pretty
